Nike SB新团队主管Scuba Steve简访

在去年分手战略性停歇的éS Footwear之后，著名滑板摄像师Scuba Steve，将携手Kaspar Van Lierop共同担任Nike SB团队主管。从éS 跳到Nike SB，从摄像师变身为团队主管，这背后又有哪些故事？不妨一起走进Scuba Steve的简访。

你是如何得到Nike SB 团队主管的职位的？

Scuba Steve：说起来挺幸运的，当时éS宣布了战略性停歇，而Nike SB的团队主管恰巧也刚刚离开，我有几个好朋友帮我联络了Nike，之后我就得到了担任Nike SB King Of The Road的摄像师的机会，自从第一天见到Nike SB的队员们开始，我就知道我应该加入到Nike SB中。

你认为你和Nike SB队员们的良好关系是否也进一步的帮你得到了这份工作？

Scuba Steve：这是当然的！没有他们的帮助我也不可能如此顺利的得到这份工作，非常感谢他们！

作为团队主管，平常你都会忙些什么工作？

Scuba Steve：现在我才刚刚落脚，但是有很多的工作需要去做，新的Video和其他的一些活动，大家要持续关注Nike SB 2012的动向。

你现在是在与Jason Hernandez（The SB Chronicle Vol.1,Debacle等滑板影片主要摄像师）共同为Nike SB的新影片拍摄还是在忙一些团队主管的任务？

Scuba Steve：我肯定会帮助他一起去拍摄新片子，还有很多的东西要拍。滑板影片制作也是我作为团队主管的工作任务之一，我会帮助Jason组织一些滑板旅行，以确保队员们可以拍摄到足够多的滑板部分。

After parting ways with eS footwear last year, long time skate videographer, Scuba Steve, has found a home at Nike SB as their new team manager. "Scuba" Steve Chalme will be working alongside Kaspar Van Lierop as team manager. We caught up with Steve for a quick last minute interview.

How did the Nike Team manager position come about?

I was lucky, éS went on "hiatus" and Nike's TM moved on. I had a couple friends help me out, and put me in contact with Nike. I got a chance to go on KOTR with the Nike dudes, and it was awesome, I knew I wanted to work with those guys since the first day in the van.

Did you have existing relationships with the team riders already?

Of course, I knew most of the team, a few of the team riders put in a good word for me. Thanks dudes!

What's in the works for Nike and what's keeping you busy at the moment?

I am just getting settled in right now, but lots of cool stuff in the works, new videos, and some other crazy projects, keep your eyes out. 

Are you working with Jason Hernandez on filming for the video, or are your hands pretty tied with team management duties?

Ill definitely help film when possible, a lot goes into making videos, it is one of my many responsibilities that comes along with team management. I will be working with Jason on organizing all the trips, making sure the team riders have all they need to put out amazing video parts.
