说唱明星NAS讲指导滑板电视剧“The Land”主演Erykah Badu

说唱大碗NAS要指导滑板电视剧，这个跨界的动作能否吸引到观众，另外他还邀请滑板大咖Erykah Badu来主演，究竟两人能碰出什么样的火花，让我们拭目以待！

The Land will be directed and co-written by Steve Caple, Jr. the director of the TV series, Class. The film revolves around the lives of four young skateboarders living in Cleveland. They decide to leave but some how get involved with a local drug lord/lady presumably played by Badu.

Badu had a pretty good run acting in films during the 1990s and early 2000s, starring in films like Blues Brothers 2000, The Cider House Rules and House of D. The film will also star rapper Machine Gun Kelly who had a role in Gina Prince-Bythwood’s 2014 acclaimed film, Beyond the Lights, as well as actor Moisés Arias.

In addition to serving as executive producer, Nas will be producing The Land’s official soundtrack. With the success of films like Rick Fumiyama’s Dope, F. Gary Gray’s Straight Outta Compton, and Ryan Coogler’s Creed, Black filmmakers are being given more opportunity to showcase their talents.

The film is set to premiere between January 21-31, 2016.
